Stuck in 1980's! This Eden Prairie home had all of the typical symptoms of a home struck by the 80's syndrome. This project started off as simply an oak kitchen remodel and quickly grew into an entire main level remodel including laundry, family room, living room & entry. SDI's open book pricing policy enabled us do the entire main level for the client's initial kitchen remodel budget. Yellow Sun Granite, stained knotty alder cabinetry with lots of cabinetry details such as furniture toe on the island & paneled appliances. We opened up the wall between the family room & living room to fit today's entertaining needs. Please come see the results of the makeover!
2328 Rivendell Lane
Minnetonka, MN 55305
After many years of interior design work with this homeowner we transitioned into three remodeling projects for this 1950s Minnetonka rambler.
The first project was overhauling the main level hall bath: St. Cecelia granite, cherry cabinets; and lower level family room: Sante Fe Brown granite on the bar, camel slate with copper accents, cherry bar & entertainment center cabinets.
Our second project was to transform the lower-level guest bedroom & bath.
The third project was the master suite retreat: Antique Persa granite, walnut cabinets; & powder bath: The Lakes granite, tumbled Siena travertine & walnut cabinets. Finally this home & homeowner can rest.
Here are two homes we finished over the summer. We hope you like them.
